It is directed mainly to the citizens of Bałuty – the district in which Manufaktura is located, but with its offer it practically covers many more organizations and citizens from the entire city.
Manufaktura takes special care of the citizens of nearby neighbourhoods, particularly children and teenagers. Many events directed towards them take place in the Center. One may enumerate: the Copa Manufaktura tournament accompanying the football World Cup, attractions on the paradise beach during summer vacation, or visual-artistic activities for children organized by the Factory Museum. Moreover, Manufaktura supports the Mother Theresa of Calcutta Society located at Ogrodowa street. The children who overcame cancer presented not only their apparels, but most of all their courage. Through their performance they set an example for others, that the disease can be defeated. During the presentation, money for the functioning of the foundation was gathered. The Gajusz foundation also collected money for the little Dawid – a prematurely born child requiring specialist medical equipment to survive.
