Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz is currently concentrating on preparations for the grand opening of the Muzeum’ s new spaces. The inauguration of the ms2 will take place on 20th – 22nd of November 2008. For now, you can learn the details of several inauguration events.



A unique Collection of XXth and XXIst Century Art will be presented in the ms² – a revitalized and redesigned historic weaving mill located in the Manufaktura complex. The ms2 will become a new Muzeum space, where over 3000 m2 will be allotted for the permanent exhibition and another 600 m2 for temporary exhibitions. The rest of the space will host educational activities, performances, meetings with artists and film projections. It should be stressed that the ms² is the first realized project of a modern museum of art in Poland, setting at the same time new standards.
