Manufaktura has been awarded the best European shopping center in
the category of objects of very large area. International Council of
Shopping Centers awards are recognized as the most prestigious in
the field of European retail property.
Jury have found Manufaktura as a venture which is far beyond the
definition of shopping center – as the most innovative project on
the continent and the place that should be often visited. Unique
combination of industrial architecture, modern projecting style,
location in the heart of the city and the fact that Manufaktura
combines different functions, like entertainment, culture and trade
were highly appreciated – said Sławomir Murawski, Manufaktura’s
Director.
International Council of Shopping Centers have been giving ICSC
European Shopping Center Awards since 1977 for the most outstanding
new and refurbished shopping centers in Europe. ICSC operates since
1957. Currently it unites about 70 thousands members: owners of
shopping centers, developers, managers, marketing specialists) from
over 80 countries. Main goal of ICSC is to promote shopping centers
as objects – institutions taking essential part in life of
communities.
Manufaktura is a laureate of many prizes, for example: ULI GLOBAL
Award 2007 which is granted by Urban Land Institute, Best
Revitalisation Developer – CEPIF 2007 prizes, Quality Awards 2006 in
the category of Aareal Bank CEE Retail & Leisure Development of the
Year 2006. C&J awarded Manufaktura The Best Polish Tourist Product
of the Year 2006, The Best Shopping Center and The Best Project of
General Construction.
